Independent Research: Initially reluctant participants rated training excellent [70%] or good [27%] and over 80% were using skills learned six months post training during this 6 year government agency training program.

The Guidance Channel: "The Emotionally Intelligent School."  Community Building is a key element in the Emotional Intelligence of any organization, especially our schools.

Conciliation Quarterly: "Holistic Training in the Alternatives to Violence Project."  The Community Building Experiential training model was developed originally by the Alternatives to Violence Project.  This professional journal article discusses its effectiveness.

The Rationale: This paper explores the rationale underlying the success of the Alternatives to Violence Project model of Community Building Experiential training.
